I've been thinking about Karen so much lately.  It's been awhile since I've spent time in her presence.  That's going to change this weekend.  She's got school on Friday and Saturday, but is planning on spending the night at our place on Saturday.

I often disagree with the marketing gurus at my company and after a lengthy discussion, I typically acquiesce to their ideas.  Once in a blue moon, I don't and we make changes.  Most of the time they're correct and I'm wrong.  But sometimes, ideas are plain stupid.

Here's one of these ideas.

The Lingerie Football League recently announced that it's going to change it's name to the "Legends Football League."

In addition, according to one of the articles I read:

"As part of the rebranding, fans of the LFL can expect to see performance wear replace all lingerie aspects of uniforms and 'sexy female figures' on logos and designs to be replaced by brand new logos."

Who's the genius who thought of this idea?  I'm sure men around the globe are just clamoring to cover up those tight bodies with the same uniforms you see on Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.  Talk about a non-starter of an idea.

While they're at it, I have another suggestion.  Why don't they adopt real football strategy and beef up the offensive line to improve their running game.  Here's a few highly touted potential draft picks I just happened to see at the BBW Combine with a short scouting report on each:

This right guard has the potential to block two opponents at once.  Has surprising quickness, offers great pass protection and can cover plenty of ground.

Massive Melissa as she was called on her high school team definitely kept the opponents (and teammates at times) at bay.  Can play every position on the offensive line and has been known to play two or three of them at the same time with surprising effectiveness.  Tough to get around her on your way to the QB. 

And here's someone whose been called the prototypical LFL left tackle.  Protects the QB's blind side better than anyone.  Tough to get by or knock down. Loves to mix it up and get in your face.  Potential first round pick.

There you have it.  I'm also curious if the league has any openings for volunteer assistant coaches.  Better yet, I'd love to be a special assistant to the offensive line.
